As the Chief Clinical Officer for MedStream Anesthesia, Carrie is responsible for the CRNAs across 70 + facilities; building, strengthening and overseeing the company’s clinical leadership structure of Regional Chiefs; and working collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer to improve communication and on-the-ground facility operations. Additionally, she is working to establish relationships with Anesthesia Nursing Schools, plays an integral role in the company’s CRNA recruiting process and with assessing new client-partner opportunities.
Since 2017, Carrie has served in a variety of roles for MedStream, including as a Chief CRNA and as a Regional Director, before her appointment as the Chief Clinical Officer in May 2023.
Carrie has vast clinical experience in a variety of settings in multiple states in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast with extensive time spent in Critical Access and Community Hospitals as a Solo Anesthesia Provider. Carrie leverages this experience with her natural leadership abilities to help create positive, forward-thinking cultural change within the organization.
A native of Illinois, Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Illinois State University in Bloomington, IL, later going on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing- Anesthesia Program from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
A mother of three boys, Carrie currently lives in the mountains of southeast Tennessee, with her husband, kids and two dogs.
